As a Corporate Communications Intern, I played a key role in enhancing brand perception and strategic communication. Responsibilities included crafting compelling narratives, managing an editorial calendar, conducting media monitoring, and implementing effective content strategies across various platforms.

1. Email Marketing & Newsletter

Implemented a robust daily newsletter and email marketing strategy involving media monitoring on competitors and partner labels, identifying market trends and providing valuable communications recommendations to senior executives. Leveraged in-depth research to curate content for the daily newsletter, delivering comprehensive media coverage reports for Sony Music celebrities and brands.

2. Social Re-share Strategy

Executed a reshare social strategy by repurposing content from partner labels, boosting brand awareness on social initiatives. This effective approach resulted in a notable increase in social media activity, elevating weekly posts from 2 to 5, and successfully expanding the reach and engagement metrics of our brand.

3. Corporate Communications

I contributed a featured article for the Sony Music page titled 'Talent Advisory Groups: The Heart of Sony Music.' Through insightful interviews with representatives from the DE&I office and People Experience team, I emphasized the pivotal role that community and representation play in shaping our company culture.

Editorial Calendar

Established and managed an Excel-based editorial calendar for comprehensive media tracking. Successfully tracked and recommended 3-5 advertising opportunities monthly, enhancing the strategic planning and execution for the publicity team.

Conducted thorough media monitoring on Grammy Nomination Day by engaging with representatives from every record label under Sony Music to compile a comprehensive list of their 2023 Grammy Award nominees. This meticulous process resulted in the creation of a categorized spreadsheet featuring nominees based on category, album/song, and record label. The spreadsheet proved instrumental on Grammy Nomination Day, enabling the identification of nominated Sony Music artists and facilitating the creation of tailored content for social media platforms.
